</u>1. <u>Open House with Jim Swaim on Friday, August 22, is RESCHEDULED.</u></b> Lot of families are away this week and we have received less than 5 responses from people to attend the coffee with Jim Swaim on August 22. So we regret to say we have canceled tomorrow's coffee. We will be rescheduling this open house for a later date in the fall. Stay tuned.<br>

</u>2. <u>Coffee with Jim Swaim for parents of Cabot Students
with Special Needs!</u></b>: As announced earlier in the summer, there
will be one additional coffee with Jim Swaim, Cabot's new interim
principal. This coffee is for parents of children with special
needs who have IEPs or 504 plans. It will be hosted at the home of Carrie
Jasper, Cabot SPED PAC Liaison, at 19 Fairfield St in Newtonville. <br>

<b>3. </b><u><b>Help in the office on August 22. </b></u>Mrs. Driscoll needs some help in the office. Initially, we had decided to help her at 1:30 p.m., but I spoke to her today, something has come up and she would like 2-3 people to come and help her at 9:30 a.m. instead. Please let me know if you are able to help her in the morning.<br>

<b>4. </b><u><b>Welcome picnic for new families.</b></u> If you have a new family moved in your neighborhood or a family will be coming to Cabot for the first time, please extend them invitation to join us for a PTO sponsored Welcome Picnic on Tuesday September 2, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.<br>

<b>5. </b><u><b>Update your contact information.</b></u> If you gave a new email address, please go to the PTO website at cabotpto.org and update your contact information so that you can receive school related notices. Please encourage new families to do the same.<br>
