from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, the much awaited Cabot Family Dance, will be held at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Bigelow</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Middle School</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>. DJ Marc Lacatell will be
helping us swing to wonderful music.<span style=""> </span>So
bring along the whole family! Look for flyers around the school for more

<div class="MsoNormal">As you know the 5th grade activities committee is planning a
bake sale on Primary Day, Feb. 5th. We expect there to be a huge turn out since
it is such an exciting <font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">election </font>race.<span style=""> </span>This bake
sale will be for the <b style="">whole school</b>,
with the proceeds going towards 5<sup>th</sup> grade activities as well as
Cabot PTO.<span style=""> </span>Please donate baked goods for

<div class="MsoNormal">This year, we are working with <b style="">Worldwise Education</b> to create beautiful all occasion notecards
using your child(ren)’s artwork which they have made during art classes at
Cabot.<span style=""> </span>Each family will have the
opportunity to purchase a box(es) of cards made with their own child(ren)’s
art.<span style=""> </span>Additionally, we will select 12
different cards from all those created to be part of a mixed box which we will
sell as part of our Cabot Goods inventory. <b style="">Look

scan into notecards. By signing this permission slip, <i style="">you are in</i> no <i style="">way obligated
to purchase anything</i>; it will just allow us to use the artwork for

<div class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">Four teachers/staff members have
the chance to win the “Weekend Away” Raffle, sponsored by the 5th Grade
Activities Committee!<span style=""> </span>Students can buy
tickets naming the teachers/staff members they would like to win.<span style=""> </span>(We think this is a great way to say “thank
you” to the folks who work so hard on behalf of our children every day.)<span style=""> </span>The homes have been donated by members of the
Cabot community: one in <st1:State w:st="on">New Hampshire</st1:State>, two in <st1:State w:st="on">Vermont</st1:State>, and one on <st1:place w:st="on">Martha’s
Vineyard</st1:place>.<span style=""> </span>Tickets are $5
each or 6 for $25.<span style=""> </span>There is a Raffle
Ticket envelope outside each classroom door for completed ticket forms and
checks (NO CASH PLEASE).<span style=""> </span>Raffle tickets
can also be purchased during the Bake Sale hours at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Cabot</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">School</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>
on Election day (February 5th).<span style=""> </span>We will
have two drawings – 2 winners on February 14th and two on February 15th.<span style=""> </span>Special prizes will also be given to the
students who purchase the winning tickets.<span style="">
