Hello Cabot community, I am sure most of you are disappointed at the results of last night special elections results. The override did not pass.? Yes we will have less money for our schools and municipality.? But it is reality and we have to face the mandate.? We will hear more form Dr. Quarcoo and the Jim Swaim in the coming weeks how Cabot will be directly affected under the Allocation budget as they roll out the plan for next year.? As Dr. Quarcoo has always assured the community, the school department will try to do its best to hire and keep the most staff.? We will keep you informed.
We will have to remain positive and support the staff to do their best.? PTO will try to enrich as many programs that are possible under the equity guidelines and support the school in every way.? Please join us for the final PTO meeting on June 10th at 8:40 AM in the library, we will be discussing next year's budget and also learn how you can help make so many programs possible in the school.? Many of the PTO positions need volunteers, some require time at school, and some require time at home.? Your time will be worth spent in whatever way you can help us.
Thanks to all of you for showing your support for our schools.
