Join the fun at June 12 Celebration of Teaching

 

Cabot School will be hosting a community-wide Celebration of Teaching on Thursday, June 12, from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. We will recognize Dr. Marilynne Quarcoo and Ms. Marcie Mann, who are retiring from Cabot School after many years as outstanding educators. We will also thank other departing teachers. The event will feature music, refreshments, and a presentation of memory books to Dr. Quarcoo and Ms. Mann. 

 

Here are some ways you can help. Please

 

-         Join students, parents, alumni, and faculty at this special event.

-         Drop off items for the memory books in the labeled mailbox in the Cabot office; also watch for collection boxes on the blacktop on Tuesday, June 10, after school. 

-          Spread the word to anyone you know who is no longer part of the Newton schools.

-          Email Sally Brickell (brickland6 at rcn.com) if you can volunteer on June 12. The time slots are as follows: 

-          2:30-3:30 (set up)

-          3:30-4:00, 4:00-4:30, 4:30-5:00, and 5:00-5:30 (greeting, cake serving, memory books)

-          5:30-6:00 (clean up).
