[CabotCommunity] Addendum to Jabberlite

Hello everyone, as the PTO Co-Presidents we are happy to inform all of you that vigilant readers like many of you have brought to our attention that by
mistake the calendar section of the yesterday's jabberlite did not include December 25th as Christmas Day.






 











We want to assure the community that it was not an intentional omission. It occurred as a result of an editing error, while transferring the data from the EXCEL
spreadsheet to the jabberlite. The calendar on the Cabot PTO website does include it.  We do apologies for this.

We would like to reiterate that your input is not only critical but also essential to successful operation of the PTO, and once again thanks to all of you 
who share your feedback with us. We have made necessary changes to the calendar and again send our apologies.

Following is a quote from Dr. Quarcoo as a response to this issue:

"... All celebrations and observances are respected at Cabot and in>Newton. I continue to encourage teachers to include 
the Christmas holidays celebrated by Christians in discussions  as we do many other religious and cultural seasonal observances..
I believe we could do an even better job by increasing those religious beliefs we acknowledge and discuss in school. Religion
is a common shared cultural aspect of many groups. I will join with the PTO to offer a timely apology for this omission regardless
of the reason!"
