Cabot's Space Crunch

The Space Crunch is Serious ... We Need Your Help!

We need to do something about the serious space issues for 2007 at Cabot.
Your opinion

could make a big difference. There has been a continuous spike in enrollment
this year

and is projected to continue next year as well. Where do we put the
additional classrooms

and children?

Some of the options being considered are:

* moving an entire grade to a different school

* taking the entering K group and move them to a new school

*        redistricting

* instituting an enrollment freeze (no new students at Cabot)

* removing art and music from their own rooms (mobile art and music
carts)

*        combining grades

* adding a modular building to the existing school

We need your voice for your children's future at Cabot.

Please come and be heard at:

October 23rd       School Committee Meeting

                               7:30 PM, at the Ed Center, 100 Walnut St.

October 25th Public Forum Sponsored by the School Committee

                               7:30 PM, at the Oak Hill Middle School
