AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS AT A GLANCE
To get a sense of the general attributes of each program, review the table and descriptions below.

Part-time available
: Enrollment for less than a full week is allowed.
Outdoor play space: Outdoor play space is available and commonly used.
Indoor gym access: An indoor gym is available.
Child groupings < 30: The program puts students in groups of < 30 students for supervision. This does not indicate a supervision ratio.
Child groupings by age: The program segregates the children in care by age, keeping grades separate.
Parent transportation needed: Transportation to the program at the end of school is not available.
School vacation care: The program provides care during the three school vacation weeks (December, February, April). (Note: There are many options for school-vacation coverage in addition to those listed here; this attribute is included because some families prefer to keep their children in the same environment all year.)
School early release: The program offers care on the early-release Thursdays and other early release days according to the public school schedule.
Individual activities: The program provides a schedule  of specialized activities that children can be enrolled in and participate in without the need for transportation. A $ indicates that some activities cost extra.
Annual enrollment: Indicates the approximate month that enrollment for the following school year occurs.
